I am absolutely in love with the table, the vignette on the table, the windows, the corner cabinet......that whole corner!! (The rest of your cottage is beautiful, too, but that corner just grabbed my heart!)
P.S. FYI -- People that don't log in with IE cannot leave comments (blogger issue). I had to log in with IE because I really loved that corner!! If you go into Settings, Comments, and change to "pop up", everyone will be able to leave comments!
Hi Amy! It was so nice meeting you and the lady (who's name I can't remember :0() who was with you today! I have enjoyed your store for years now and it was so nice to know the owner is just as likeable as her store :0) I love these pics of your home too...simply beautiful! Blessings, Katy
Amy, I was thrilled to find out about your blog and store website. I moved from Washington to Tennessee last June. I loved your store so much, it was always a treat for my best friend Donna and I to visit Sumner. Your store was always the highlight. Your home is as beautiful as your store. I will have to get the new Flea Market Style magazine. I was privileged to meet Donna and Philip when they photographed my friend Donna's home. Such nice people. Well, I look forward to seeing more of your store online and will visit when I am in Washington again! Blessings, Victoria Lynn
Wow! Amy such a stunning home, just like your lovely shop. Congrats on being featured in the magazine. I'm going to have to run out and pick it up today. Not sure if I told you but I'm heading to Portland the end of Sept. for an art retreat and hope to make it up to your neck of the woods and shop my way home back through Spokane. God bless!
I am rooting out - weeding out - sorting out all my pattern china - except my red transfer - which I am storing - and I have only white right now and what to collect inexpensive vintage white pieces to mix and match - I love your setting!!!!
Hi, I found your store blog first, then this one. I've enjoyed so much peeking inside your adorable home. Is the issue of Flea Market Style magazine which has your home still available? ♥
A Grassroots movement to save small businesses, the heart and soul of America!
Last week I found out about a great non-profit organization, the 3/50 Project, from a fellow retailer.I am a small business owner along with my business partner Kris Williamson we opened our antique store nearly 10 years ago in A town that alot of people refer to as "mayberry" Our Mayberry is Sumner Washington 30 minutes south of Seattle.I'm not only a business owner but also a consumer and today more than ever I am reminded that WE cannot take these small towns for granted or they will cease to exist. If you the people (our customers, friends. family, neighbors, myself included make a conscious effort to support your local businesses (please click on to the 3/50 website at the top of the page)you will see that it really doesn't take much to support our community if we ALL just think ahead a tiny bit.For business owners this organization has put together a wonderful flyer that you can distribute to your customers promoting how and why they should (continue to) shop locally. To request one for your store, visit their website www.the350project.net and register as a supporter.
Thank You so much!
XOXO
Amy
