Vintage trailer Junkies your not alone!

This is the 64 Shasta "Buttercup" we fixed up for my 80 year old parents. See your never too old to be a Vintage trailer junkie!
Well, you know by now I have turned into a trailer Junkie, but me and my friend thought maybe there was something wrong with us, because we just have gone looney over these little nostalgic bubbles! Then I found Nancy's Vintage Trailers blog and I was so relieved' it's not just us' I told my friend we aren't the only Crazies!

Check out Nancys blog here if you need a REAL trailer fix!

Happy Trails

  1. Thanks for the link ~ lately I have been enjoying peeking in the little old beauties! We camp all summer in a 2006 38' sandpiper. I mentioned to my husband how I would love an old one, he thinks I am nuts!!

  5. Dear Amy,

You are so sweet to mention my blog in your posting. You aren't Crazy... just bit by the vintage trailer bug. I couldn't explain it either, but I know I've got the bug as well.

I see them as a big part of Ameicana.. just like John Deere, Harley Davdison, Chevy etc. Usually trailers are kind of utlitarian, but why not make them fun by decorating them in a theme or vintage style.

I'm very partial to Shasta trailers. It's really neat that you restored one for your parents.

I love your blog as well,

Thanks again for the kind words,
    Nancy

  6. This is such a super blog! I love these old trailers. Yours is looking fabulous! I read about the 3/50 project and I am all for supporting small businesses. I live in a small town in Long Island, NY that has a downtown which I try to patronize whenever possible. Keep up the great work and I will be back to check your blog out again!
