Do I have OCD?

Sometimes I wonder why I change my furniture so often? When I look back on Pictures like this one. This table looked great didn't it? I can't even remember now why I took it out? I also forgot all about the old drysink pictured in the first photo to the upper right. Yep sold that baby about a year and a half ago! I'm actually contemplating getting rid of the old fir corner cupboard too. Well I guess its a really good thing I have a really bad memory!
I wonder what I was thinking? I know I wasn't thinking I want to put a tiny little round cafe table there, But that is what I did.I know I had a good reason, it's just my bad memory really. I have warned my children ahead of time that just about everything in the house is for sale hoping when they get older they aren't scarred for life. They pretty much know not to get too attached, really it isn't much of a problem yet as they don't really share my taste. I think maybe it's time for that old china cabinet to go to!:)

I really love the way that table & chairs look too! I'll buy it right now. I think we all do the same thing. My husband always says its a good thing no one in our family is blind because the furniture is never in the same place for more than a week. Even if someone was,I am pretty sure I would still have this problem ~ can't help it ~ occupational hazard. Don't worry~I think you are in good and plentiful company. Massive blizzard just started - schools just closed. White Wednesday Indeed!!!!

It's funny, but I don't rearrage often. I replace items here and there, but tend to leave the big stuff in place. Love the light pouring in those pictures!!

My teenage girls seriously get angry when I buy and sell furniture. And when I repaint rooms.

I need a booth or something so I can rearrange to my heart's content. :)

Lovely room. So much my style....

I love the look. White just looks great mixed in with dark woods. It makes a great match! It really does look GREAT! Thanks for sharing the beauty in your home.

Oh, Amy--no matter what you do, it's ALWAYS so great to see! And if you're OCD, you have plenty of company!!

Not only are many of the items in my home for sale, they have price tags on them (not visible of course). Pretty soon, somebody's gonna stick a tag on me....

YIKES! How could you? Everything is for sale? My gosh, I am just the opposite -- It's mine... all mine! And when I find another treasure, I just push it in somewhere!

Ormolulu said you are going to come visit me! Call me first to make sure I'm not off doing an estate sale!

Thanks for sharing your photos! Maybe I'll be brave enough some day to show some of my house...

Love your background too.

Have a good weekend!

Amy I knew there was a reason I liked you so much. You are so much like me!! I always tell my family not to get too attached to any piece of furniture or item. What is it with us? Why are we this way? Are we missing a gene or perhaps we have an extra gene. Anyway, I was redecorating my blog this week and I lost everything and so I had to start over...ya isn't it great!!

Hugs,
LeAnn:)

I have to hand it to you Amy, that is great to be like that. I'm like sister Patty's comment, I get something and try to squeeze it all in, even when space is an issue. I do however like this room very much and the table looks perfect in it. I use to change my furniture around all the time, but now where I live I can't do it, but the things on the walls get moved around a lot.

Have a Wonderful Day-

I think both rooms are beautiful...and I believe we all have a little OCD in each of us! ;)
Sometimes we just need a change, even if what we had was perfect before. Love your blog! :)
